Invoice and payment reminders in El Paso
Invoice and payment reminders for El Paso businesses: the invoice goes out the day the job is done with a pay link, and polite reminders follow by email or opted-in text until it is paid.
At a glance
- What: invoices sent the day the work is done, with a link to pay from a phone, and polite reminders that stop the moment the customer pays.
- Channels: email for everyone, and text only for customers who opted in, under a texting registration filed in your business's name.
- Every text program says who is texting, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and that STOP ends texts and HELP gets help.
- The money goes to a payment account in your business's name, and the invoice is marked paid without anyone typing it in.

The problem it solves
Finishing the job is the hard part. Getting paid for it shouldn’t be. This setup sends the invoice the day the work is done, with a link to pay from a phone, and follows up politely until it is paid, so you don’t have to make the awkward call.
Why invoices sit unpaid
Usually nothing dramatic. The invoice went out a week late, it landed in a spam folder, or the customer meant to pay and forgot. A reminder at the right time takes care of a lot of that, and the ones that still don’t pay are the ones worth a phone call from you.
What the customer sees
A short email or text from your business name with the amount, the due date and a pay button. Texts go only to customers who opted in, and the first one tells them message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and they can reply STOP to end texts or HELP for help. When they pay, the invoice is marked paid and the reminders stop on their own.
On both sides of the border
A plumber in Las Cruces billing homeowners and a supplier billing a shop in Ciudad Juárez need different channels. US numbers can get texts under your 10DLC registration. Customers with a +52 number get reminders through WhatsApp for business, with a separate opt-in. Email reaches everyone. The invoices and payments sit on each customer’s record in your custom CRM. How it works
The same order every time: nothing is built, and nothing is paid, until you have seen your sample and the written quote.
Tell us how you bill today
Who writes the invoice, when it goes out, how customers pay and which ones usually pay late.
Your free sample
Your invoice layout and the full reminder schedule with the text of every message, in English, Spanish or both, beside a fixed written quote. Free, with no obligation.
You approve, we build and test
The payment account and texting registration are set up in your business's name. We send test invoices to our own phones until every reminder fires and stops when it should. Texting starts once the carriers approve the registration.
Training
Sending an invoice, recording a cash or check payment, pausing reminders and reading the late list.
The first 30 days
We check which reminders got paid and which got ignored, and rewrite the ones that didn't work.
As little as 48 hours of lead time covers most projects. Larger sites, online stores and sites with booking or ordering systems get their own dated timeline in the written quote.
How pricing works
Every business needs a different set of pieces, so every quote is written for yours. You see your free sample and a fixed written quote before you pay anything. Here is how a quote works.
- Agency-quality work at small-business prices, quoted in writing before anything starts.
- A fixed written quote. No surprise invoices.
- You can own your website instead of renting it: no monthly website fee, with the domain, files and accounts in your name.
- Pay for the services you actually need. Every package is built à la carte.
Questions
How do I get a client to pay an overdue invoice?
Make paying easy, then ask again on a schedule. A polite reminder with a pay link that opens on a phone, a few days after the due date and again a week later, removes the usual excuses. We set those reminders up for your El Paso business, and if an invoice still sits unpaid, you get a note to call that customer yourself.
Won't reminders annoy my customers?
Not if they are spaced out and polite. A common schedule is a friendly note a few days before the due date, one on the day and a couple after, each shorter than the last. You choose the wording and the timing, and you can pause reminders for any customer you would rather call yourself. Once an invoice is paid, the reminders stop.
Can you send payment reminders by text?
Yes, to customers who agreed to get texts from you, for example with a checkbox on your estimate or intake form. US carriers require business texting from regular ten-digit numbers to be registered under A2P 10DLC, so we file that registration in your business's name. The first text confirms the sign-up and says that message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, STOP ends texts and HELP gets help. Customers who didn't opt in get email only.
How do customers pay?
From the link in the invoice. They open it on their phone and pay by card, or by bank transfer if your payment account offers it. The money goes to an account in your business's name, never Rodco's, and the processing fees are written into the quote. Cash and checks can be marked paid by hand in a few taps.
What about customers in Ciudad Juárez?
Email works on both sides of the border. Texting under 10DLC only reaches US numbers, so customers with a +52 number get their reminders on WhatsApp, which needs its own opt-in. Whether you can bill in pesos depends on your payment account, and we check that before we quote.
Does this cover my bookkeeping?
No. It gets invoices out and paid on time, and it keeps a clean list of what was billed and collected. Recording every income and expense and reconciling the month is bookkeeping, which Rodco offers as a separate monthly service if you want it.
