Accessibility

Our target

Rodco Systems aims for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, on every page of this site in both languages. Until people who use assistive technology every day have tested it, we describe the site as partially conformant: some parts may not yet meet the standard.

What we do

• Pages use real headings, landmarks and lists, so screen readers can move through them.
• Everything works with a keyboard alone, and the focus outline is always visible.
• Text and controls are checked against the AA contrast ratios by a script before each release.
• Motion is small and turns off when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Photos carry text descriptions in English and Spanish; decorative drawings are hidden from screen readers.
• Each page declares its language, so a screen reader reads Spanish pages in Spanish.
• The quote form works without JavaScript, every field has a visible label, and error messages say how to fix the problem.

Known limitations

• The site is new. It has been checked with automated tools and by keyboard, but not yet by people who use screen readers every day.
• The region map is a drawing. The places it shows are also listed in text beside it.
• The spam check on the quote form and WhatsApp are run by other companies, and we can’t fix barriers inside them.
