The problem it solves

The AC quits on a 100-degree afternoon in July. Nobody in that house browses; they search, tap the first business that looks real and call. Google Ads puts you on that screen the moment someone searches, for as long as you pay for the clicks.

That speed is the appeal. Wasted money is the risk, and small businesses feel it first.

Honest about small budgets

Google charges for search ads by the click. You set an average daily budget, and Google says a campaign can spend up to twice that on a busy day, as long as the month stays under 30.4 times the daily amount. In trades where a click is expensive, a small budget buys only a few clicks a week, and that is not enough to learn which searches turn into customers.

We check that before you spend anything. If the numbers do not work yet, the honest advice is to put the effort into your Google Business Profile and reviews first, and come back to ads later. If they do work, the budget goes to the searches, hours and parts of town most likely to call.

Local Services Ads, if your trade qualifies

For some trades there is a second kind of Google ad. Local Services Ads sit at the top of the results with your reviews and a Google badge, and you pay per lead instead of per click. They are open only to certain categories, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, cleaning, pest control, many kinds of lawyers and dentists, and Google screens each business first. Google is moving these ads into Performance Max campaigns with pay-per-lead goals, starting August 2026 for some U.S. home and storefront service businesses and continuing into 2027. They will be managed from Google Ads, and the charge is still per lead.

Every click should be able to call you

An ad is only as good as what happens after the tap. Each campaign sends people to a page about the exact service they searched, with a tap-to-call button and a WhatsApp link, in the language of the ad. Calls and forms are tracked as conversions, so the monthly report talks about customers. A shop in Las Cruces or a Juárez business advertising to El Paso shoppers gets the same setup, with the location targeting drawn to match.

What’s included

A budget check before you spend.
Google's cost estimates for your searches, turned into a plain answer: what your budget can buy each month and whether ads make sense yet.
Search campaigns.
Keywords grouped by service, negative keywords so you stop paying for searches like "jobs" or "DIY", location and schedule set to the areas and hours you actually work.
Local Services Ads where they fit.
For trades Google accepts: the profile, the screening paperwork and the service areas set up, with every lead counted in your report.
Ads in English and Spanish.
Separate Spanish campaigns written in Spanish, landing on Spanish pages, for customers on both sides of the border.
Conversion tracking.
Calls from the ads, calls from the website, form fills and WhatsApp taps counted as conversions, so the report shows customers, not clicks.
Landing pages that match the ad.
An ad for water heater repair goes to a page about water heater repair with a tap-to-call button, not to your home page.
Your account, your card.
The Google Ads account is in your name and Google bills you directly. Our fee is in the quote, separate from what you pay Google.
A monthly report and call.
Spend, calls, forms, cost per lead and what we are changing next, read with you in plain words.

How it works

The same order every time: nothing is built, and nothing is paid, until you have seen your sample and the written quote.

  1. Tell us about your business

What you sell, which areas and hours you want to cover, and what a new customer is worth to you. A person reads it and replies the way you chose.

    Day 1

  2. The numbers before the money

We pull Google's cost estimates for your searches, check whether your trade qualifies for Local Services Ads, and look at the page the ads would send people to. You get a plain recommendation and a fixed written quote.

    Week 1

  3. You approve

Say yes to the quote, set up billing in your own account and add Rodco as a manager.

    When you are ready

  4. Launch and first report

Tracking goes in before the first ad runs. Campaigns launch, the search terms get checked several times in the first weeks, and the first report shows what came in.

    Day 30

  5. Every month

Bids, keywords, ads and pages adjusted from real results, and a short report with the cost per lead.

    Every month

As little as 48 hours of lead time covers most projects. Larger sites, online stores and sites with booking or ordering systems get their own dated timeline in the written quote.

Questions

How much should I spend on Google Ads?

It depends on what a click costs in your trade and your part of town, and the cost of a click varies widely from one trade to the next. Before you spend anything we pull Google's own cost estimates for your searches and tell you what a budget can realistically buy. If the answer is a few clicks a week, we will tell you to start with your Google Business Profile instead.

How does Google charge for ads?

For search ads you pay when someone clicks. You set an average daily budget; Google says a campaign can spend up to twice that on a busy day, but by the end of the month no more than 30.4 times the daily amount. Local Services Ads are different: you pay per lead, such as a call or message, not per click.

What are Local Services Ads, and does my business qualify?

They are the ads at the very top of some searches that show a business with its reviews and a Google badge, and you pay per lead. They are only open to certain categories, such as HVAC, plumbers, electricians, locksmiths, roofers, house cleaners, pest control, many kinds of lawyers and dentists, and Google screens each business, including licenses for some trades. If your trade is on the list, we set it up; if not, search ads are the way.

Is the ad account mine?

Yes. The Google Ads account is created in your name with your card on it, and Rodco is added as a manager. You see every dollar Google charges, and if you stop working with us, the account, the campaigns and the history stay with you.

How soon will ads bring in calls?

Ads start showing once Google reviews them, which usually takes about a business day. Whether they bring calls depends on the searches, the budget, the page people land on and how fast someone answers the phone. The first weeks are for learning which searches pay off; the report at day 30 shows calls and forms, not just clicks.

Should I advertise on Google or on Facebook?

Google catches people who are searching for what you sell right now, which suits repairs, emergencies and services people look up. Facebook and Instagram reach people before they search, which suits restaurants, events, salons and anything people buy with their eyes. Many businesses need one first and the other later.

Do you run ads in Spanish?

Yes. Spanish ads get their own keywords and their own text, written in Spanish, and they send people to a Spanish page, not to an English page with a translate button. A Spanish ad that lands on an English form wastes the click.
