Web development in El Paso

Rodco Systems is a web developer in El Paso for the parts of a site that do the work: the booking calendar, the order button, the forms and the small web apps that turn a visit into a job, all tested on a phone and registered in your name. Every build starts with a free sample and a fixed written quote, priced below most local competitors.

The problem it solves

A web developer in El Paso spends less time on how a site looks and more on what happens after a customer taps. The appointment has to land on the right calendar at the right hour. The order has to reach the kitchen, the quote request has to reach whoever prices the job, and nobody should have to retype any of it by hand.

Where the hookups break

Plenty of small businesses here run on a stack of rented tools: a booking app, an ordering service, a payment link, a form plugin, a spreadsheet. Each one works on its own. The trouble lives in the gaps between them. A booking widget set to the wrong time zone. A contact form still emailing someone who left last year. An order button buried three screens deep.

When that breaks, customers rarely complain. They just do not come back.

The border adds its own bugs

Since late November 2022, Ciudad Juárez keeps the same clock as El Paso, with U.S. daylight saving dates. The rest of Chihuahua stayed on one time all year. Pick “Chihuahua” in a booking tool instead of the border zone, and from November to March every appointment for a customer in Juárez is an hour off.

If the business is in Mexico and the site asks for names, phone numbers or email addresses, the law asks for a privacy notice next to the form. A tool built for some other market does not know either of those things.

What custom development fixes

We start from the tools you already pay for and connect them, instead of selling you new ones. Each connection is tested before launch with a real booking, a real order and a real form, sent from a phone on cellular data. When something cannot connect, you find out before the quote.

When no rented tool fits the job, such as a quote calculator for your trade or a page where customers check on their job instead of calling, we build a small web app with its scope and dates in writing. The code, the domain and every account stay in your name.

What’s included

A free sample before you pay.
Your home page on a private link, next to a fixed written quote that lists every connection the site needs.
A list of what connects to what.
Booking, ordering, payments, email, CRM, spreadsheets. Before we build, we write down every system the site touches and whose name each account is in.
A build made for this site.
Pages coded around your content and your customers' phones, with nothing heavy loading in the background.
Booking and ordering where customers look for them.
Your calendar or ordering system linked or embedded in plain view, set to the border's clock, with confirmations going to the right person.
Forms that reach a person.
Quote, contact and job application forms with spam protection, routed to the inbox or the phone of whoever answers them.
Integrations.
The site passes each lead to the tools you already use, such as your email, calendar, CRM or a spreadsheet, so nobody types it in twice.
Small web apps.
A quote calculator, a job status page or an internal form, each with its scope and dates written into the quote.
Speed measured against Google's numbers.
Core Web Vitals checked on a real phone before launch, so the page shows up fast and answers a tap right away.

If you sell in Mexico, your full aviso de privacidad and the short notice beside each form, built into the site. You or your lawyer review the final text.
Everything in your name.
Code, domain, hosting and every account registered to you, every login at handoff, and no monthly website fee.

How it works

The same order every time: nothing is built, and nothing is paid, until you have seen your sample and the written quote.

  1. Tell us what the site has to do

A call, a WhatsApp message or the quote form: what you sell, which tools you already use and what should happen when a customer taps a button. A person reads it and replies the way you chose.

    Day 1

  2. Your free sample

Your home page on a private link you open on your phone, beside a fixed written quote with each connection listed. Free, with no obligation.

    One business day

  3. You approve

Say yes to the sample and the quote, then send the logins for the tools being connected: booking, ordering, email and the domain. That starts the clock.

    When you are ready

  4. Live in as little as 48 hours

We code the pages, connect each system and test it with a real booking, a real order and a real form from a phone on cellular data, then publish. Web apps and larger integrations get their own dated timeline in the quote.

    As little as 48 hours

  5. Training

A session with you or your staff: where bookings and orders arrive, how to change hours, and what each account does. You get every login.

    1 session

  6. The first 30 days

We check that every form, booking and order reached the right place and fix what needs fixing. Small fixes in the first weeks are part of the project.

    Day 30

As little as 48 hours of lead time covers most projects. Larger sites, online stores and sites with booking or ordering systems get their own dated timeline in the written quote.

Rodco Systems consistently undercuts local competition, with higher quality.

And you get the choice to own your website instead of renting it.

  • No monthly website fee. The only recurring cost is your domain, registered in your name.
  • A fixed written quote before any work starts, and a free sample of your home page before you pay.
  • Live in as little as 48 hours after you approve your sample and send your details.
  • Yours to keep: domain, files, hosting and every account in your name.

Questions

What does a web developer do that a web designer doesn't?

Design decides how the site looks and reads. Development makes it work: the code, the hosting, the booking calendar that writes to your schedule, the order button that reaches your system, the form that lands in the right inbox and the payment link. Most projects need both, and at Rodco they come in one project.

Can you connect my website to the booking or ordering system I already use?

Usually, yes, when the system offers a booking link, an embed or an API. We start from the tool you already pay for, and your customer history stays where it is. If a tool has no way to connect, you hear it before the quote, not after.

My customers book from Juárez. Will the times match?

They will if the system is set up right. Since late November 2022, Ciudad Juárez keeps the same clock as El Paso: Mountain Time with U.S. daylight saving dates. The rest of Chihuahua stayed on one time all year, an hour ahead of the border from November to March. A booking tool set to 'Chihuahua' shows appointments an hour off for those months. We set calendars, reminders and forms to the border's clock.

How fast will the site be?

We check it against Google's Core Web Vitals: the main content showing within 2.5 seconds, a response to a tap in under 200 milliseconds, and nothing jumping around while it loads (a layout shift score under 0.1). Before launch we test on a real phone on cellular data, not only on an office computer.

My business is in Mexico. What does a form that collects customer data need?

A privacy notice. Mexico's data protection law asks it to name the business and its address, the data collected and what it is used for. When the data is collected online, a short notice sits next to the form and links to the full one. We build both into the site as part of the project, and you or your lawyer review the final text. If you also sell online, Mexican consumer law asks you to give buyers a physical address, phone numbers and a way to file a complaint before the sale.

Do you build web apps?

Small ones: a quote calculator for your trade, a page where customers check the status of a job instead of calling, an internal form that replaces a paper log. Each gets its own scope and a dated timeline in the quote. If a project is bigger than we should take on, we tell you before you pay.

Who owns the code?

You do. The code, the files, the domain and the hosting are in your name, and every login is yours at handoff. There is no monthly website fee. If you ever switch developers, you take everything, and the next person can pick up where we left off.

How much does a web developer cost in El Paso?

It depends on what the site has to do: hooking up the booking tool you already use costs less than a custom ordering app. Every project gets a free sample and a fixed written quote before work starts, so the number doesn't grow halfway through. Rodco Systems consistently undercuts local competition, with higher quality, and the code and accounts are registered in your name.
