Google Business Profile and Bing Places optimization in El Paso
Google Business Profile optimization for El Paso businesses: the right categories, real photos, current hours, honest reviews and edits made in stages, so your listing shows up on Google Maps and Google accepts every change. Your Bing Places listing carries the same facts.

At a glance
- Who: Rodco Systems, based in El Paso, Texas, setting up and maintaining Google Business Profiles in English and Spanish.
- What: categories, services, hours, photos, posts, review replies and edits made in stages within Google's guidelines, plus a matching Bing Places listing.
- Why it matters: the profile is what shows on Google Maps and in the map results above the links.
- What it is not: a paid boost. Google says there is no way to pay for a better local ranking.
- How to start: tell us about your business. The profile stays in your name; we work on it as a manager you can remove.
The problem it solves
Search for a tire shop, a taquería or a dentist in El Paso and the first thing on the screen is usually a map with three businesses on it. Those three come from Google Business Profiles. Most customers call, ask for directions or read reviews right there, without ever opening a website.
The profile is free. Keeping it accurate, complete and within Google’s rules is the work.
How Google picks the three
Google says local results are based mainly on relevance, distance and prominence. Relevance is how well your profile matches the search, which is why the category and the services list matter so much. Distance is how far you are from the person searching. Prominence is how well known the business is, and Google says reviews and links count toward it. It also says there is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking.
Why we change a profile in stages
Every edit to a verified profile is reviewed by Google. Most go through in minutes; some take up to 30 days. Google can reject significant changes to the business name or category, a name change can send the profile back to verification, and moving to a new address always does. A profile that changes its name, its category, its hours and its address in the same afternoon is asking for trouble.
So the changes are planned. Safe fixes first, one batch at a time, each one checked before the next. The big ones, if any, go last and alone.
Mistakes that cost calls
A tire shop on Alameda listed under the wrong primary category, so it never shows for “tire shop”. A Mission Valley restaurant that never set holiday hours, so the profile says open on Christmas Day while the doors are locked. A Socorro contractor showing a home address when the guidelines say a service-area business should hide it. Two listings for the same clinic after a move, splitting the reviews in half. A business name with “Best AC Repair El Paso” glued on the end, which breaks the name rule. Each one is fixable, and each one costs calls until it is fixed.
What’s included
- Claim, verify or recover.
- A new profile set up and verified, or an old one recovered, with the ownership in your Google account and Rodco added as a manager you can remove.
- Categories and services.
- The primary category chosen with care, as few extra categories as describe the business, and every service you sell listed in plain words.
- Facts that match the website.
- Name, address or service area, phone, hours and holiday hours identical to your site, so Google and your customers see the same thing everywhere.
- Real photos.
- Your storefront, your team and your work, sized for the profile and added on a schedule, not stock pictures from someone else's shop.
- Edits in stages.
- Changes planned in order and made a few at a time, each one checked for acceptance before the next, so nothing sends the profile back to verification by surprise.
- Posts and updates.
- Offers, events and seasonal news posted to the profile, in English, Spanish or both.
- Review replies.
- Every review answered, the bad ones too, in the language it was written in. Asking every customer for a review is the review management service.
- Bing Places too.
- Your listing on Bing search and Bing Maps claimed and set up with the same name, hours, phone and categories as Google, imported from your Google profile where that works.
- A monthly report.
- Calls, direction requests, website visits and searches from your profile's own performance data, read with you in plain words.
How it works
The same order every time: nothing is built, and nothing is paid, until you have seen your sample and the written quote.
Tell us about your business
Your business name, what you sell, your hours and whether customers come to you or you go to them. A person reads it and replies the way you chose.
The profile today
We check the profile against Google's guidelines and your website: category, name, hours, photos, reviews and any duplicate listings. You get what we found and a fixed written quote.

Say yes to the quote and add Rodco as a manager from your own Google account.
Changes in stages
The fixes go in batches in a set order, the riskiest last. The first report at the end of the month shows what Google accepted and what the profile's numbers say.
Every month
Posts, new photos, review replies, hours checked before holidays, and a short report.
As little as 48 hours of lead time covers most projects. Larger sites, online stores and sites with booking or ordering systems get their own dated timeline in the written quote.
How pricing works
Every business needs a different set of pieces, so every quote is written for yours. You see your free sample and a fixed written quote before you pay anything. Here is how a quote works.
- Agency-quality work at small-business prices, quoted in writing before anything starts.
- A fixed written quote. No surprise invoices.
- You can own your website instead of renting it: no monthly website fee, with the domain, files and accounts in your name.
- Pay for the services you actually need. Every package is built à la carte.
Questions
Why doesn't my business show up on Google Maps?
Google ranks local results mainly on three things: relevance, distance and prominence. The searcher's distance you cannot change. The usual fixable causes are a wrong primary category, a profile that was never verified, hours or a phone number that disagree with the website, and few reviews compared with the businesses around you.
Can you put keywords in my business name?
No. Google's guidelines say the name must be your real-world name, the one on your sign, website and stationery, with no taglines or marketing. Profiles that break the guidelines can be restricted or suspended. If customers search "brake repair" and your name is García's Garage, the category and the services list are where "brake repair" belongs.
Why do you make changes a few at a time?
Because Google reviews every edit. Most are checked within minutes, some take up to 30 days, and Google can reject significant changes to the name or category. Changing your name can send the profile back to verification, and a move to a new address always does. So the changes go in a planned order, and the next batch waits until the last one is accepted.
Do you buy or write reviews?
Never. Google prohibits offering anything in exchange for a review and asking only happy customers for one. What works is asking every customer, every time, with a direct link. We set that up as part of review management, and we reply to every review you get, the bad ones included.
I work from my truck. Do I have to show my address?
No. Google's guidelines say a service-area business with no storefront sign customers can visit should hide its address and list the areas it serves instead. Plenty of plumbers, electricians and cleaning crews in El Paso run that way.
My profile was suspended or I lost access. Can you help?
Yes. We find out which rule Google applied, fix what caused it and file the appeal or the ownership request through Google's own process. Google decides how long that takes, so we do not promise a date.
Do you set up profiles for businesses in Juárez?
Yes, in Spanish, by video call and WhatsApp. The profile is written the way Juárez customers search, with the address, the colonia and a +52 656 number that a customer in El Paso can also dial. Google chooses the verification method for each business, and we walk you through it.
Why bother with Bing?
Because some of your customers search there, and an accurate listing costs nothing to keep. Bing Places puts your business on Bing search and Bing Maps. Microsoft lets you import a verified Google profile, which carries over the name, hours and contact details, so we set up both together and keep them matching.
