- Rodco Systems builds the site around the question every buyer asks first, "do you have it?", with the vehicles on the yard listed and a call or WhatsApp button that brings the year, make and model along.
- Pages in English and in Spanish, written by people who know a yonke from a refaccionaria.
- Based in El Paso, Texas. In person across El Paso and Las Cruces, remote anywhere in the region.
- Start with the form, a call, WhatsApp or email. How customers choose
Every parts call starts the same way: “Do you have it?” An auto parts store website, or a junkyard’s, should answer that question faster than the phone can. That means saying which vehicles are on the yard this week, giving buyers one tap to ask about a specific part with the year, make and model already filled in, and getting the hours and address right on both sides of the border. Rodco Systems builds these sites for parts stores and yards in El Paso, Las Cruces and Juárez, with Spanish pages and a WhatsApp button that sends the part request in one tap.
How do buyers look for a part here?
By the car they’re fixing. A buyer doesn’t search for “alternator.” They search for an alternator for a 2012 Tacoma, and they want to know whether you have one before they drive across town or across the bridge. A yard with a list of the vehicles on the lot by year, make and model gives that answer in a scroll. A store with a stock catalog can show what is on the shelf.
The field on the Mexican side is wide open online. INEGI’s directory lists 418 used auto parts sellers in Juárez, 244 of them with “yonke” in the name, and only 5 list a website. It also lists 354 refaccionarias selling new parts, 22 with a website. In El Paso County, 123 auto parts retailers had employees in 2025, chain stores included. Independents compete on what the chains don’t carry and on how fast they answer.
What does your site have to do?
Take the “do you have it?” question in whatever form it arrives. A call button for the buyer who wants to talk. A WhatsApp or text button for the one who’d rather type, with fields for year, make, model and part so the message comes in ready to answer. A short form for the shop that wants a quote on three parts at once. Then the facts buyers ask about all day: whether they pull their own parts, entry fees, core charges, your warranty and how returns work.
We don’t pretend a yard’s every part can live online. Parts come and go daily, and a list that size goes stale fast. A vehicle list you update when cars come in and get crushed stays honest. If your yard or store software exports inventory, we show that instead; if you have nothing, a simple barcode inventory is a separate project under our business systems service.
What does the page look like? An illustrative wireframe
Picture a phone screen. At the top, your name, today’s hours and two buttons: Call and “Do you have it?” on WhatsApp. Below that, a search box over the vehicles on the yard, each one a line with year, make, model and the date it came in. Then the yard rules in plain words, your parts warranty, a short note for repair shops and the map with the cross street. On the Spanish page, the same layout with yonke and refacciones, and prices in pesos if the yard is in Juárez.
That is an illustrative wireframe, not a client’s site. Your cars, your rules and your counter’s phone number go in.
What helps a buyer say yes?
Answers to the doubts they bring. Some customers worry that a used or aftermarket part will void their warranty. The FTC says it doesn’t: a warranty stays in effect, and a manufacturer can only deny coverage for damage it shows the part caused. Put that on the page. In Texas, the TDLR used automotive parts recycler license is a fact worth showing too, since every person who buys or sells parts for the business must hold one.
In Juárez, the trade buyer is the taller. Mexico’s consumer law says repair shops use new parts unless the customer expressly authorizes others, so a shop buying a used motor from a yonke needs that OK in writing. A short page for talleres, with how to order and that reminder, makes your part the easy one to sell.

Must-have features
A list of the vehicles on the yard.
Year, make and model of each car on the lot, updated as they come in and go out. Buyers search by the car they're fixing, so that list answers more questions than a parts catalog nobody keeps current.
A "do you have it?" button on every page.
Call, text or WhatsApp, with fields for year, make, model and part, so the message arrives ready for a yes or no.
Hours, pull rules and prices stated plainly.
Whether customers pull their own parts, what tools they can bring, entry fees and core charges. These are the questions a parts counter answers all day.
A page for repair shops.
Talleres and fleet buyers want account pricing, delivery and how to order by phone. In Juárez, a note that shops need the customer's written OK to install used parts helps them sell your part.
Warranty and returns, in writing.
Your own parts warranty and return window, plus the FTC point that recycled parts don't void a car's warranty.
Spanish pages with the counter's words.
Yonke, refaccionaria, motor completo, transmisión, partes usadas. A buyer from either side should find the part in the words they'd say on the phone.
Prices in pesos for a Juárez yard.
Mexican law asks for prices in pesos; dollars can go beside them for buyers who cross.

Region notes
El Paso
El Paso County had 123 auto parts retailers with about 1,250 jobs in 2025 (BLS), plus a handful of used-parts wholesalers where many salvage yards are classed. Chain stores are part of that count; an independent store or yard competes on what the chains don't stock and on a fast answer. A vehicle list that is right this week, the TDLR recycler license on the page, and hours that match Google do more here than a long catalog. 63% of city residents age 5 and up speak Spanish at home, so the "do you have it?" form works in both languages.
Southern New Mexico
Doña Ana County had 27 auto parts retailers with about 230 jobs in 2025 (BLS). Outside Las Cruces the county is mostly farms and small towns, so a buyer may drive a long way: the site should say exactly where the yard is, the hours and whether a part can be held for pickup. Spell out the cross street and the nearest exit, because a buyer driving in from Hatch or Anthony is following the map, not a sign.
Ciudad Juárez
INEGI lists 418 used auto parts sellers in Juárez, and 244 of them call themselves yonkes in their name; only 5 list a website. 96.2% have five people or fewer. A yonke with a page that lists the cars on the yard and a WhatsApp button with the year, make and model typed in answers the first question before the phone rings. The 3,248 repair shops in the same directory are the trade buyers, and by law they need their customer's express authorization to install used parts, so a short note for talleres helps them buy from you. Prices go in pesos, with dollars beside them for buyers coming from El Paso.

Questions
Should I put my whole parts inventory online?
Usually not part by part. A yard holds thousands of parts that change daily, and nobody keeps a list that size right by hand. What works is a list of the vehicles on the yard by year, make and model, updated when cars come in and get crushed, plus a fast way to ask about a specific part. A new-parts store with a point-of-sale catalog is different: if your system exports stock, we can show it. We say which approach fits in the quote.
Will a used or aftermarket part void my customer's warranty?
No, and it's worth saying on your site. The FTC tells car owners that a warranty stays in effect when aftermarket or recycled parts are used. A manufacturer can deny coverage for damage only when it shows the part caused that damage. A line on your page with that point, linked to the FTC, answers the question before the customer asks it at the counter.
Do I need a license to sell used parts in Texas?
Used automotive parts recyclers are licensed by TDLR. Each person who buys or sells used parts for the business needs an employee license, and a business with more than one yard needs a license for each location. Showing the license on your site tells a buyer they're dealing with a licensed recycler.
Can a repair shop in Juárez install the used part I sell them?
Yes, with the customer's go-ahead. Mexico's consumer law says repair shops must use new, appropriate parts unless the customer expressly authorizes others. Talleres that buy from a yonke need that authorization in writing, and a page for shop buyers that says so, with how to order, helps them close the sale with their own customer.
Do you build the inventory system?
No. If you already use yard management or point-of-sale software, we show what it exports. If you don't, we can set up a simple vehicle list you update from your phone, or a barcode inventory system as a separate project under our business systems service. The quote says which and when.
Should the WhatsApp button use my U.S. or Mexican number?
Whichever one your counter answers, written in full with the country code (+1 for El Paso, +52 for Juárez) so the link works from either side of the bridge. If you keep both, show both. The button opens with the year, make, model and part already typed, so the reply can be a yes or a no.
How do I get more customers at an auto parts store or junkyard?
Answer "do you have it?" before the next yard does. List the vehicles that came onto the yard each week, keep your Google hours exact, and give buyers a call or WhatsApp button that sends the year, make and model with the question. Repair shops are repeat buyers, so ask the mechanics you sell to for a Google review. In El Paso and Juárez, a quick answer in English or Spanish is what brings them back.
