The problem it solves
Your website, your Google profile and your social pages all run on photos. Most small businesses have a few dark phone pictures, a logo and maybe one shot of the sign taken at noon. That’s what customers see before they decide to call.
A shoot fixes it in a morning. We plan it, a professional photographer we work with takes the pictures, and you get photos you can use everywhere.
Planned around where the photos go
A good shoot starts with the pages, not the camera. A home page needs one wide photo that says what you do at a glance. Each service needs a photo of that service. Your Google profile needs the front door, so a customer driving down Dyer or Zaragoza recognizes it. The shot list covers each of those, so nothing gets missed and nothing is wasted.
An add-on, not a separate project
Business photography goes with something we’re already doing for you: a new website, your Google profile, or a monthly plan of social posts. The photos are planned for that work and put to use the week they arrive. Shoots happen at your business in the El Paso area; ask us about Las Cruces and Ciudad Juárez.
What we won’t do
Use stock pictures of someone else’s shop as yours. Photograph customers who didn’t agree. Edit a photo until your place looks like somewhere it isn’t. Real photos of the real place are the point.
What’s included
- A shot list made for your pages.
- We start from where the photos will go: the top of your home page, each service, your Google profile and your social posts.
- A shoot at your business.
- A professional photographer at your shop, restaurant, office or job site, at a time that doesn't get in the way of customers.
- Your place, your team and your work.
- The storefront and sign, the inside, the people who serve customers if they agree, and the plates, products or finished jobs you sell.
- Edited photos.
- Color, light and crop corrected, so the photos look like your place on a good day and not like a different place.
- Sized for every use.
- Versions ready for your website, your Google profile and your social pages, so nothing loads slowly or gets cut off.
- Permission in writing.
- A written license to use the photos for your business, online and in print.
- Delivered in your name.
- A folder you keep, in your own account, not on a link that expires.
How it works
The same order every time: nothing is built, and nothing is paid, until you have seen your sample and the written quote.
Tell us what the photos are for
A new website, a Google profile with old pictures, social posts that need fresh material, or all three.
Shot list and your quote
What gets photographed and where each photo will be used, with a fixed written quote.
You approve and pick a date
Choose a time when the place looks its best and is not packed: before opening, a slow afternoon or a job that is almost done.
The shoot
The photographer works through the shot list at your business. You or a manager stays nearby to answer questions and decide on the spot.
Edited photos delivered
The edited set, sized for each use, lands in your folder. If the photos are for a site we're building, they go straight into it.
As little as 48 hours of lead time covers most projects. Larger sites, online stores and sites with booking or ordering systems get their own dated timeline in the written quote.
How pricing works
Every business needs a different set of pieces, so every quote is written for yours. You see your free sample and a fixed written quote before you pay anything. Here is how a quote works.
- Agency-quality work at small-business prices, quoted in writing before anything starts.
- A fixed written quote. No surprise invoices.
- You can own your website instead of renting it: no monthly website fee, with the domain, files and accounts in your name.
- Pay for the services you actually need. Every package is built à la carte.
Questions
Who takes the photos?
A professional photographer we work with. Rodco plans the shoot, writes the shot list from what your website and profiles need, and is your one contact from the first call to the delivery. One quote, one invoice.
Can I use the photos anywhere?
Anywhere for your business: your website, your Google profile, social media, menus, flyers and signs. The delivery comes with that permission in writing. If you need to own the copyright itself, say so before the shoot and it goes in the quote.
Do my employees and customers have to be in them?
Only people who say yes. We ask everyone in a shot before it is taken, and customers who happen to be in the room are kept out of frame. If your team would rather not be photographed, the shoot focuses on the place and the work.
How many photos do I get?
It depends on the shot list, and the number is in your quote before the shoot. A restaurant usually needs the dishes, the room and the front door. A contractor needs finished jobs and the crew at work. We plan for what each page and profile will use, not a round number.
Why not just use stock photos?
Because customers can tell. A stock kitchen isn't your kitchen, and someone who walks in expecting it notices. Your own photos also show what sets you apart: the mural on the wall, the lot full of trucks, the family behind the counter.
