At a glance

  • For brands and resellers who sell on Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Etsy, eBay or Mercado Libre and want a site of their own, from El Paso, Las Cruces or Ciudad Juárez.
  • Rodco Systems builds the brand site that sits next to your listings, with a page per product, buy buttons to each marketplace and the shipping and returns pages the rules expect.
  • Rodco Systems is an assumed name of EJR International LLC, which sells its own brands on Amazon. We read fee pages and listing rules as sellers, not only as web designers.
  • Based in El Paso, Texas. In person across El Paso and Las Cruces, remote anywhere in the region.
  • Use the form, call, WhatsApp or email. A free sample of your home page is ready in one business day with a fixed written quote; once you approve it, the brand site can be live in as little as 48 hours. A full online store with its own checkout gets a dated timeline in the quote. Domain and accounts in your name.

How customers choose

A website for Amazon sellers is not a second store you have to babysit. It’s the place your brand lives when the listing is somebody else’s page. Buyers who search your brand name, store buyers looking for a wholesale contact and customers who want to buy again all need somewhere to land, and that somewhere should send each of them to the right place to buy. Rodco Systems builds these brand sites for Amazon and Walmart sellers and other online brands in El Paso, Las Cruces and Juárez, and the domain and the site are yours.

Why have a site if you already sell on Amazon?

Because the marketplace owns the listing and you own the brand. Amazon charges a Professional seller $39.99 a month plus a referral fee on every sale. Walmart Marketplace has no monthly fee and charges a referral fee by category, 15% on home and kitchen goods. Those fees buy traffic. What they don’t buy is a page that is yours: one you control, that ranks for your brand name and that a wholesale buyer can trust.

E-commerce keeps growing as a share of U.S. retail. The Census Bureau put it at $340.2 billion in the second quarter of 2026, 17.1% of all retail sales. Buyers who find a product on a marketplace and then search the brand name should find you, not a reseller.

We say this as sellers. Rodco Systems is an assumed name of EJR International LLC, which sells its own brands on Amazon. Fee pages, listing rules and the question of where to send a buyer are part of our own week, not only our clients’.

What does your site have to do?

Send each visitor to the right place to buy, and answer what a listing can’t. Each product gets its own page with the photos and facts buyers ask about, with buttons to its Amazon and Walmart listings, or to your own checkout if you run one. A wholesale form gives store buyers your case packs, minimums and contact. A shipping and returns page states times you can meet. And a brand page tells who makes the product and where, with real photos.

If you want Amazon Brand Registry, the brand name or logo needs a pending or registered trademark. Settle the name and logo first; our branding service delivers the files, and a trademark attorney handles the filing.

What does the page look like? An illustrative wireframe

Picture a phone screen. At the top, your logo and a line that says what you make. Below that, your products as a grid of photos, each one opening a product page with photos, specs, reviews and two buttons: Buy on Amazon and Buy on Walmart. Then your story with a real photo of where the product is made or packed, a line for wholesale buyers, and shipping and returns in plain words. On the Spanish page, the same layout, with Mercado Libre where you sell there.

That is an illustrative wireframe, not a client’s site. Your products, your photos and your listings go in.

Which rules follow you off the marketplace?

Sales tax, shipping promises and reviews. In Texas, Amazon and Walmart collect the sales tax on marketplace orders, but sales on your own site are yours to collect, and the Comptroller says you still need a Texas permit either way. The FTC expects a reasonable basis for any shipping time you state, or shipping within 30 days if you state none, and a notice with a refund offer if you can’t make it. And since October 2024 the FTC’s review rule bans fake reviews and rewards tied to a positive review. We build the review request so every buyer gets the same honest ask.

What changes on the border?

For a Juárez seller shipping into the U.S., the de minimis exemption ended for every country on August 29, 2025. Low-value packages now clear with duties paid, and the shipping page has to say so. Selling inside Mexico, the consumer law asks for your address, phones and complaint channels before the sale and gives buyers five business days after delivery to change their mind on sales outside a store. We write those pages in Spanish first.

What your site must do

  1. Online order

Must-have features

  1. A page for every product.

Photos, dimensions, materials, ingredients or specs, matching your listings word for word where the facts are the same, so a buyer who finds you by brand name gets the same story everywhere.

  2. Buy buttons that go to the right place.

Each product links to its Amazon or Walmart listing, or to your own checkout if you run one. One click from the brand site to the listing, nothing in between.

  3. Shipping and returns you can actually meet.

The FTC expects a reasonable basis for any shipping time you state, and 30 days if you state none. The page says your real handling time, carriers and return window.

  4. A wholesale and retailer inquiry form.

Store buyers and distributors look for the brand's own site. A short form with case packs, minimums and where you ship from turns that visit into a conversation.

  5. Reviews shown honestly.

Real reviews, the good and the bad, requested the same way from every buyer. The FTC's 2024 rule bans fake reviews and sentiment-conditioned incentives.

  6. A brand page with real faces and real places.

Who makes the product, where, and why. For a border brand, that's an El Paso or Juárez story buyers can check.

  7. Spanish pages and Mexican seller details where you sell in Mexico.

Mexico's consumer law asks online sellers to show a physical address, phone numbers and complaint channels before the sale, plus all costs and payment methods.

Region notes

El Paso

A Texas seller pays no sales tax on Amazon or Walmart orders, because the marketplace collects it, but still needs a Texas permit and collects tax on sales from its own site. If you source or pack across the border, the brand page can tell that story honestly: designed here, made or packed where it really is. With 63% of city residents speaking Spanish at home, a Spanish version of the brand site reaches buyers the English listing doesn't.

Southern New Mexico

New Mexico sellers file gross receipts tax rather than sales tax, so a Las Cruces brand should ask its tax preparer how marketplace sales and direct sales are reported before adding a checkout to its own site. The shipping, review and returns rules are federal and apply the same way. Local products, from pecans to chile, have their own labeling rules; our agriculture page covers the New Mexico Chile Advertising Act.

Ciudad Juárez

For a Juárez seller shipping to U.S. buyers, the de minimis route closed on August 29, 2025: every shipment now goes through an entry with duties paid, and the site's shipping page has to say who pays and how long it takes. Selling in Mexico, the consumer law asks for the seller's address, phones and complaint channels before the sale, all costs shown, and lets the buyer revoke within five business days of delivery on sales outside the store. We write the Spanish pages first for a Juárez brand, and the quote comes in pesos or dollars.

Questions

I already sell on Amazon. Why pay for a website?

Because the listing belongs to the marketplace and the brand belongs to you. Amazon charges a Professional seller $39.99 a month plus a referral fee on each sale, and Walmart charges a referral fee by category, 15% on home and kitchen items. Those are fair prices for the traffic. A site of your own is where wholesale buyers, press, returning customers and anyone who searched your brand name land, and it sends each of them to the place you want them to buy.

Do I need a trademark for my site?

Not for the site. You do need one for Amazon Brand Registry, which requires a pending or registered trademark for the brand name or logo from the trademark office of a country with an Amazon store. If you're heading that way, settle the brand name and logo before we design around them; our branding service delivers the files, and a trademark attorney handles the filing.

Who collects sales tax if I sell on my own site?

You do. In Texas, marketplace providers like Amazon and Walmart collect and remit the sales tax on sales made through the marketplace. Sales on your own site are yours to collect, and the Comptroller says a Texas seller who sells through a marketplace still needs a Texas sales tax permit and has to file returns on time. Ask your tax preparer how that applies to your products.

Can I give free products to people who leave reviews?

Not in exchange for a positive one. The FTC's Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule, in effect since October 21, 2024, bans fake reviews, incentives conditioned on a particular sentiment and suppressing reviews with threats, and knowing violations can draw civil penalties. Showing real reviews and asking every buyer the same way is fine, and that's how we set it up.

I ship from Juárez to customers in the U.S. What changed?

The duty-free de minimis entry is gone. CBP stopped accepting it for goods from every country at 12:01 a.m. on August 29, 2025, so low-value shipments now go through a formal or informal entry with duties paid. Your shipping page should say who pays duties and how long delivery really takes, because the FTC expects you to have a reasonable basis for any shipping time you state.

Do you build the online store?

We build the brand site and connect each product to where it's sold: your Amazon listing, your Walmart listing or a store platform you already use. A full store with its own checkout, inventory and payments is quoted on its own, with its own timeline, so you know before you commit what it costs to run.

How do I promote my online store or brand?

Send people to a page you own and give them a reason to come back. Your brand site lists each product with a buy button to the marketplace that carries it, collects emails for launches and restocks, and gives store buyers a wholesale contact form. Amazon doesn't let sellers send marketing messages to its buyers, so the email list has to be built on your own site. Search ads on your brand name and posts that link to product pages do the rest.
