How much does a website cost in Ciudad Juárez?
At a glance
- In Mexico a small-business website costs 3,000 to 10,000 pesos from a freelancer and 10,000 to 30,000 pesos for a small-company (PyME) site, according to ranges GoDaddy published in November 2025.
- A basic online store runs 18,000 to 40,000 pesos; a custom store starts at 30,000 and can pass 100,000.
- On top of that come the domain, hosting and, if you want it, maintenance, which GoDaddy puts at 99 to 999 pesos a month per platform.
- If a quote comes in dollars, ask which exchange rate it uses and how long the price holds, and ask whether IVA is included.

In Mexico a website for a small business costs 3,000 to 10,000 pesos from a freelancer, more than 10,000 pesos from an agency, and 10,000 to 30,000 pesos for a small-company (PyME) site, according to ranges GoDaddy published in November 2025. Add the domain, hosting and, if you sign up for it, monthly maintenance.
That is the short answer to how much a website costs in Ciudad Juárez. We found no published price list for Juárez alone, so this guide works from the national ranges, explains what moves the price here on the border, and gives you the questions for comparing quotes in pesos and in dollars.
Published website price ranges for Mexico
GoDaddy, which sells domains, hosting and site builders in Mexico, published these web design ranges in November 2025. Read them as a market reference, not a fixed price:
- Landing page from a freelancer: 3,000 to 10,000 pesos.
- Landing page from an agency: over 10,000 pesos.
- Small-company (PyME) site: 10,000 to 30,000 pesos.
- Blog or content-managed site with SEO work: 20,000 to 60,000 pesos.
- Basic online store: 18,000 to 40,000 pesos.
- Custom store: from 30,000 pesos, with complex projects above 100,000.
- Maintenance: 99 to 999 pesos a month per platform.
The same guide lists GoDaddy hosting from 99.99 pesos a month. That is the price of its own product, so treat it as a floor, not an average.
What moves the price in Juárez
Who the site is for
A business that only sells in Juárez can do fine with a Spanish site. If you want El Paso customers, like a dental office, a repair shop or a restaurant near the bridges, you need an English version written in English, with crossing directions and a number that works when dialed from the United States. Those are extra pages, and they are billed. A customer in El Paso calling a Juárez number is making an international call, so the number on the English pages should carry +52 in front, and a WhatsApp button avoids the problem altogether.
How many pages, and who writes them
One page holds your services, hours, location and a WhatsApp button. Giving each service its own page helps Google match you to more searches. If you supply the text and photos, the job shrinks; if the designer writes it or comes to shoot photos, it grows.
WhatsApp, appointments and orders
In Juárez many customers ask on WhatsApp before they show up. A button that opens a chat with your number is simple. A catalog, a booking system or online ordering is another level and sometimes brings a monthly fee from a third company. Ask for those costs separately and in writing.
The privacy notice
If your site has a form, asks for an RFC to invoice, or stores cell numbers, it needs an aviso de privacidad. The personal data law published in the Diario Oficial on March 20, 2025 requires it. Some designers include it and some leave it to you. Ask first.
Pesos or dollars: reading the quote
On the border it is normal for one vendor to quote in pesos or in dollars. Both work, but they read differently.
In pesos, the number stays put. If your sales are in pesos, it is the easiest way to know what you will pay.
In dollars, what you pay in pesos depends on that day’s exchange rate. A round-number example: a quote of 1,000 dollars is 18,000 pesos with the dollar at 18, and 19,000 with the dollar at 19. That is why a dollar quote should say which rate it takes as reference, such as the FIX published by the Banco de México, and how many days the price holds.
IVA. Ask whether the price includes it and at what rate. Juárez is in the northern border region, where taxpayers who meet the requirements and enroll in the fiscal stimulus get a 50% IVA credit. Get the total with taxes written down, not just said.
The invoice. If you need a factura (CFDI) to deduct the expense, ask before you sign, whoever the vendor is. A US vendor does not invoice the same way a Mexican one does, and it is better to know at the start.
What you keep paying after launch
The first payment is not the whole bill. Every year, separately:
- The domain. Renewed yearly, .com or .mx. Make sure it is registered in your name.
- Hosting. Sometimes included, sometimes not.
- Maintenance. If you sign up, 99 to 999 pesos a month per platform per GoDaddy.
- Third-party tools. Booking, ordering or catalog software bills you directly.
Do the twelve-month math on every quote. A 5,000-peso page with a 500-peso monthly fee costs 11,000 pesos in year one, more than a 9,000-peso site with no monthly fee.
Questions to ask before you sign
- What is the first-year total, with monthly fees and taxes?
- Whose name is the domain under, and the hosting account?
- Is the price in pesos or dollars? If dollars, at what rate and for how many days?
- Does it include IVA? Can you give me a factura?
- Does the site come with an aviso de privacidad? Who writes it?
- Is the English version written in English, or is it a translation widget?
- Is there a minimum term, and what happens to the site if I cancel?
How Rodco Systems works with Juárez businesses
Rodco is based in El Paso. We serve Juárez clients in Spanish by video call and WhatsApp. What you get:
- A free sample before you pay. Your home page with your name, your services and your colors, on a private link. Ready in one business day, with no obligation.
- A fixed written quote. No monthly website fee. The only recurring cost is your domain.
- Everything in your name. Domain, hosting, Google accounts and files are yours from day one.
- The aviso de privacidad, written and placed on your site. You or your lawyer review the final text.
- Live in as little as 48 hours after you approve the sample and the quote and we have your logo, photos, services, hours and phone number. Online stores and booking or ordering systems get a dated timeline in the quote.
If your business wants El Paso customers, the site can run in Spanish and English, each language written on its own.
Where these figures come from
The peso ranges come from GoDaddy’s guide for Mexico, published November 20, 2025 and checked by us on October 2, 2026. They are national; we found no published prices for Juárez alone. The exchange-rate and monthly-fee examples are round-number math to show how quotes compare, not anyone’s prices. We review this guide every quarter and change the date when something changes.

Questions
Should I pay in pesos or in dollars?
If your income is in pesos, a quote in pesos gives you a fixed number that does not move with the exchange rate. If the quote is in dollars, ask it to name the reference rate, for example that day's Banxico FIX, and how many days the price holds. Then you know what you will pay.
Does the price of a website include IVA?
Not always. Many quotes say plus IVA. Juárez is in Mexico's northern border region, where taxpayers who qualify and enroll in the fiscal stimulus get a 50% credit on IVA. Ask which rate you will be charged and get the total with taxes in writing.
Does my website need an aviso de privacidad?
Yes, if it collects personal data: a contact form, a quote that asks for your RFC, or a chat that stores cell numbers. Mexico's federal personal data law for private parties, published in the Diario Oficial on March 20, 2025, requires it. Ask whether the designer writes it or leaves it to you.
Why does an agency charge more than a freelancer?
An agency usually splits the work among several people, such as design, writing and development, and charges for that time and its overhead. A freelancer does it all and charges less, but everything rides on one person. What matters is what each quote includes: how many pages, who writes the copy, the privacy notice, the domain in your name and what happens after launch.
